I’m just wondering what splash screens OS11.1 uses.
I think there are 3 of them (not including KDM)
- Grub
- loading splash (not sure what this is called)
– KDM loads here - desktop loading splash
The one I’m interested in is the one that appears after grub, the loading splash. What is it called?
I have something called splashy and something called bootsplash. Can I delete the one that isn’t used or are they both used? I’ve found out how to edit splashy, but it doesn’t have any effect…
Also what does OS 11.1 use to theme the console windows (ctrl-alt-f1/7)?
