Speicherplatz im Basisordner knapp

Hallo,

Das wäre eine Möglichkeit. Was haltet ihr davon wenn ich vorsichtig alles lösche was mit message* und warn* gezeigt wird, aber nur vor 01.07.23. dann ist schon etwa die Hälfte weg.

Ich frage mich, wie man die Ursache für die vielen und großen message* und warn* Meldungen finden soll ? Ich habe da keine Idee. Das Problem tritt immer wieder auf. Auch bei der vorhergehenden Installation Leap 15.3 hat es schon das Problem gegeben, obwohl 15.3 auf einer anderen Partition installiert war.

Ich würde es gern zeigen, aber ich poste auf einen anderen PC, da sich der PC mit den Schwierigkeiten nicht booten lässt.

Leider können wir mit diesen Angaben nichts anfangen. Wir kennen weder die Dateendung noch andere Infos…auf einem sauberen System existieren solche Dateien gar nicht. Deswegen haben die meisten von uns noch nie so etwas gesehen. Deswegen musst du uns helfen damit wir dir helfen können.

Mach doch bitte ein Foto vom Inhalt des /var/log/ Ordners wenn du keine anderen Wege findest die Infos zu liefern und poste es hier im Forum. Dann können wir dir Tipps geben was weg kann und welche Dateien wir uns genau anschauen müssen um die Ursache zu ergründen.

Also ich habe jetzt auf dem umständlichen Weg, die Standardausgabe in eine txt-Datei umzuleiten, verwendet, und bin mit einem USB-Stick auf den anderen PC gegangen, um die Terminal-Eingabe hier posten zu können.

Hier alle message* und warn* Dateien der Größe nach sortiert.

Wenn ich alle diese Dateien vor 01.07.23 lösche ist wieder einiges an Platz vorhanden. Vielleicht kann dann der PC schon wieder booten ? Was haltet ihr davon ?
Man kann dann immer noch danach suchen, was die Ursache für die vielen Meldungen ist. Wenn der PC wieder bootet geht alles etwas einfacher.

Die Datei wird bei jedem Start neu erzeugt bzw. angehängt.

Aber ich hab nur die GB gezählt das waren schon so um die 26GB…

Weg damit.

Und neu starten und mal schauen, ob die wieder so groß werden (6GB für einen Tag hat schon was…)

Allerdings liegt das Problem anscheinend doch etwas tiefer. Leap 15.5. und auch TW booten noch nicht. Immer noch landet man in den emergency mode.

Was für Fehler kommen, wenn du direkt nach grub2 die Taste ESC drückst?

Der Bootvorgang über Auswahl Bios, Grub2 und Plasma verläuft jetzt etwas schneller als ganz am Anfang von diesem Problem. Der Ladevorgang von Plasma bricht jedoch ab und endet im emergency modus mit Befehlszeile.
Wenn ich nach Auswahl in Grub2 ESC drücke bekomme ich ganz kurz nur den Ladevorgang im Zeilenmodus zu sehen, weil gleich darauf schon der Login im emergency modus auf dem Bildschirm ist. Auch mit der Taste Pause/Unterbrechung lässt sich der Ladevorgang nicht anhalten, so dass ich den Verlauf mitverfolgen könnte.
Wird denn der Ladevorgang nicht auch als journal aufgezeichnet? Oder kann man dem Grub2 nicht dazu anweisen eine Aufzeichnung zu machen?

In der Zwischenzeit habe ich es doch zustande gebracht den Bootvorgang zumindest für einige Sekunden auf den Bildschirm zu sehen. Ich vermute, dass das allerdings nur das Bild eines Momentes ist, während der Ladevorgang im Hintergrund weiterläuft, weil ganz plötzlich der login vom emergency mode da ist.
Ich habe auch versucht ein Foto vom Bildschirm zu machen. Aber auch da hat man nur eine Bildschirmhöhe an Information.
Die journalctl ist rund 1400 Zeilen lang.

Besonders am Ende finden sich Fehlermeldungen. Das sieht für mich auf den ersten Blick so aus, wie wenn spezielle Benutzerdaten aus dem /home nicht geladen werden können.

Dazu muss ich erwähnen, dass ich vor kurzem dem PC eine größere Daten HDD von 8TB verpasst habe - vorher nur 2TB, waren schon fast voll.
Vielleicht stimmt was mit dem neuen 8TB Laufwerk nicht. Ich könnte mal versuchen wieder die alte Daten HDD einzubauen. ob sich dann eine Besserung zeigt.

Also jetzt der lange journalctl. Leider hat es keine farbliche Unterscheidung.
Ich muss den file in 5 Teile a 300 Zeilen teilen. Den Rest in 4 weiteren posts.

Ich schätze mal mit der neuen Festplatte hast du die /etc/fstab und anderes nicht angepasst?

Darauf weisen dann auch die Fehlermeldungen in teil 5 hin…

Und wie du siehst, gibt es die Festplatte mit der UUID aus der /etc/fstab für /home in lsblk nicht…

Ich weiß nicht ob das eine Rolle spielt, aber sda war immer das System-Laufwerk mit den Betriebssystemen. Die Daten-HDD war sdb.
Seit dem Tausch der Daten-HDD ist die neue Daten-HDD sda und das System-Laufwerk sdb. Also genau vertauscht. Anscheinend ist die Zuordnung variabel.
