Speed up boot by disabling some services

Hi,
on my 12.3 I was wondering if I could disable some boot stuff in order to get a faster boot. The only service I’ve already disabled is bluetooth (systemctl disable bluetooth).
Where can I find a list of useless services (I use openSuse on a laptop)?
thanks

Hi

I do not think that such a list exists as it depends what get used and nobody knows what are you doing with your laptop. In case you do not use NFS (Network File System) you can disable it but I think you have to study each service and disable what is not needed.

All services are useful in some instance - so we’d need to know how you
use your system and what services are enabled to advise what you might
need.

I run Apache on my laptop for testing various things - so while in most
instances Apache is a “useless service,” it’s not for me. “Useless” is
in the eye of the beholder.

If you start YaST and look at the running services, what do you see
running and what out of that do you have questions about whether you need
or not?
