Hi All,
Looking for solution for missing mp3 on Soundconverter. I insatalled Lame and rebooted. I like converting mp4 videos to mp3 to play on my smartphone.
Appreciate any help or suggestions

you need to install the package:
gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly
to add mp3 conversion ability to soundconverter

Thanks for the reply. Whats happening now is “Plugin failed to start” I did get it working on my other computer, but this on this one it failed to start after selecting
convert.
Thanks for the help. I got ffmpeg to do the conversions so that’s all I needed for the time being
