Got a new issue. I had installed SoundConverter and it did work pretty well. Until I tried using it yesterday. I tried opening it in the usual and it would not open at all. So I tried to open it via the Terminal and I got this:

I’ll admit, I don’t understand a word of that. I am using 42.2 with Gnome on a Lenovo g50 Laptop.
it looks like a gnome issue or maybe a python issue
but the general rule when dealing with multimedia is check all multimedia packages are from packman
you need to do a dup --from packman
tell us your repo’s
zypper lr -d
it could be a bad config issue you can try with a new user account
That would be a shame. Because I decided to migrate from KDE to GNOME when I installed 42.2, and so far I’ve actually loved it. A lot more than I did when it went from 2.8 to 3.0 the first time around. But in any case here is the repo list:
