I’ve just installed opensuse after being a ubuntu user for many years. Now I have noticed some weirdness regarding the sound volume. Even though every channel is set to 0%, I still get sound. Not very loud of course, but perfect when using a headset. Though muting works fine, I would prefer 0% volume == muted.
Also, I’ve noticed that Spotify(wine) behaves differently from the native applications. The volume is affected by both the master channel, and the pcm channel. This leads to me blowing my ears out if I’m not paying a lot of attention to the volume controls when switching from spotify to Amarok.
Hope some of you know what the problem is here!
