I have recently installed Open SUSE 13.1 on Supermicro Workstation 5037A-I but there’s no sound; either I haven’t configured the Intel sound card (built on the X9SRA motherboard) properly, or there’s some sort of bug out there.
In any case, there’s sound with Windows OS, so I suppose there ought to be sound with Open SUSE.
Any comments or advice would be much appreciated.
2 days ago I upgraded to 13.1. After the upgrade I lost my internet connection. Got that problem solved yesterday. Today I find no sound. I am frustrated to say the least. Did you find your problem? Can anyone help? Thanks.
Did you try setting it up in Yast?
