Sound problem

Hello,

I using version 11 in a Toshiba A60 notebook. As soon as I installed this distribution its sound worked fine however it stopped working all of a sudden. The only package I added was Rhythmbox AFAIK. Now, whenever I reboot the notebook the sound icon in the toolbar is in the mute status (with the small red cross) shows up. If I uncheck it the sound still does not work. I suppose I do not have to reinstall everything from scratch. Any suggestions how to solve this please?

Did you get it to work? I’m curious as to whether this got resolved or not.

Hello,

Nope, unfortunately not >:(. When I open Rhythmbox and try to play something it displays a Sleep Warning message.
