Reference your mp3’s … they are in a proprietary format and hence the means to freely play them is not packaged with openSUSE.
However you can add libraries/applications to play them from 3rd party sources. To make that installation easy, I recommend you setup your openSUSE software package manager with 4 repositories (repos). Just 4. No others. None. Those 4 are OSS, Non-OSS, Update, and Packman. Just those 4 for now. You can add more when you learn the risks and problems that can result from adding other repos. There is guidance for adding those 4 here: Repositories - openSUSE-Community
Go to the link for your openSUSE version and install the 4 repos I recommended.
Once those 4 are setup, then go to YaST > Software > Software management and mark xine-lib for removal, but don’t remove it yet. Then mark libxine1 from packman for installation. Then apply both settings at the same time. Once that is done, go install xine-ui, amarok-xine, amarok (as packaged by packman), and mad.
Then launch amarok to play your mp3. Be certain to select the “xine” sound engine in amarok.
For codecs, you could also install libffmpeg0 and w32codec-all and libquicktime0 and xvid. And for movie players, you could also install smplayer, kaffeine and vlc.
I tried the above (retarting alas) and got this:
Shutting down sound driver done
