Sound only comes out of left speaker...HELP!

OK I have an Acer Aspire 9300.Today I decided to install openSUSE 11.1.Everything went fine except that I only get sound out of my left speaker. At first I thought it was a hardware problem until I did a sound test and both speakers worked. However when I go to play a cd I only get sound out of my left speaker! I’ve messed with the levels, and everything.Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this.Again it’s not a hardware issue.

Did you check your mixer to see if both right and left channels for cd playback are up in volume?

I am not familiar with an Acer Aspire 9300, so its necessary to obtain some more information. With your PC connected to the internet please run the following into a gnome-terminal or konsole:

/usr/sbin/alsa-info.sh

When the script completes it will pass you a URL. Please post that URL here.

Also, please copy and paste the following into a gnome-terminal or konsole and post the output here.rpm -qa | grep alsa
rpm -qa | grep pulse
rpm -q libasound2
uname -a
cat /etc/modprobe.d/sound
