Hi!
I have a problem with sound on a laptop (ASUS X52Je). I have sound from the speakers and in headphones when headphones are connected (jack). Earlier on ubuntu (gnome) after connecting headphones, speakers in the laptop is automatically muted.
I would like that when you plug headphones music was only in them, and after disconnecting automatically returned to the speakers in a laptop.
I’m using OpenSuse 11.3 (64bit) KDE - all as after a standard installation.
Please help.
I realize you are new to the forum (welcome to it), but please DO NOT double post the same problem in these forums (it is against the rules). You have already posted this in the Laptop forum and I have replied there giving you some advice and useful research.
Perhaps a Moderator could deal with this unnecessary thread in whatever way is best.

I am going to close this thread as soon as I confirm this CLOSURE post of mine gets out on the NNTP gateway. It may be 40 minutes or so before I confirm that as I am in transit and it may be a while before I get computer access again.
