sound in headphone, but no sound on speaker

Hi,

I’m using OpenSUSE 13.1, KDE 4.11, my system is up to date.
I installed alsa-firmware and pavucontrol. I added user to “audio” group. There’s no sound from my laptop speaker. But when I plug headphone in, there’s sound from headphone.

This is the alsa-info: SUSE Paste

And this is pulse control: SUSE Paste
(like you see, the volume bar works, but I just can not hear anything from speaker)

And this is the codec (run as root):

linux-9vsc:~ # head -n 1 /proc/asound/card0/codec*
Codec: Intel Haswell HDMI

This is /etc/modprobe.d/50-sound.conf:

options snd slots=snd-hda-intel,snd-hda-intel

3hqH.o06DGqVTP23:Intel Corporation

alias snd-card-1 snd-hda-intel

u1Nb.4y+5IrhHdW0:Intel Corporation

alias snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel

Thanks for your helps!

Take a look at my blog on PulseAudio you can find here: PulseAudio and Selecting the Proper Sound Card Configuration - Blogs - openSUSE Forums

Thank You,

Have you checked YaST > Hardware > Sound?
In the lower right corner is something like Other > Volume (freestyle-translation, my interface is german).
Maybe your speaker volume is just set mute.

This is YaST > Hardware > Sound: SUSE Paste

This is Volume of sound0: SUSE Paste

This is Volume of sound1: SUSE Paste

Thanks for helps!

Yes, that is what I meant.
The intention was to check for easiest solutions first.

Unfortunately I’m no *-Guru and have no clever suggestions when the obvious ones fail.
Referring to my properly working laptop I expected a volume slider for your internal speakers (and a setting >0 for headphones).

Maybe this is another symptom giving clues to the brainiacs.
