Sound echo chamber

In windows, I can configure using sound console, special effects like audio crystallizer and room effects on my creative x-fi. It sounds like those effect are turned on. The driver didn’t support my creative x-fi card on suse. I have my speakers plugged into the motherboard sound card. Where do I find the controls to configure this? I’m using amarok for mp3 and cd’s. Thanks.

If using your motherboard sound and not your x-fi, then you could try working your way through the openSUSE audio troubleshooting guide:

Turns out my subwoofer is bad. The front left jack won’t put out sound. It needs to be returned to amazon. I’ll check that page out. Thanks.
