Hi.
My philips usb speakers with own soundcard don’t bring any sounds. I have set them as primary card in yast. I use opensuse 11.2 64bit. So please help. 
ah yes when i test them in yast there comes the test sound out of the speakers.
I do NOT have any USB speakers nor headphones. So I can only point to links and simple things to check.
Please ensure you have followed suggestions here (I think you have):
Please be certain you carefully examined your settings in your mixer. Also note many desktops (such as kde) have an area where one selects their hardware device.
Also, sometimes it hotplug mount of usb speaker/headphones do not work, but if one boots when them already installed, it works.
