Sound card driver

Iam looking for C-media CM6501 drivers…because “detector” in Yast doesnt work for me :D…
I am new on OpenSuse

P.S i m starting with buntu but i never solved problem with pulseaudio-sound in flash video doesnt work, then Debian lenny never installed graphic drivers, Mandriva-problem with boot never installed :D, Fedora destroy my GRUB and now i am on OpenSuse xD…pls help me or i think i buy Red Hat xD…and maybe try openBSD

I searched the Linux incompatibility list, and your C-media CM6501 is NOT listed, so that is good news: Audio

Note, the VERY FIRST thing I do on a new openSUSE install is setup my software package manager with 4 repositories (repos). Only 4. Specifically OSS, Non-OSS, Update and Packman. Just those 4. No others. Others can be added once learns more about the risks wrt openSUSE.
Repositories/11.0 - openSUSE-Community Again, only OSS, Non-OSS, Update and Packman.

Then reference your sound, start by trying to work your way through the openSUSE audio troubleshooting guide: SDB:AudioTroubleshooting - openSUSE

If after all that you still can not sort your sound, post here and one of us will walk you through this step-by-step iteratively.
