How do I sort items in the wastebin by the date I deleted them?
According to this blog post the info is stored by KDE, however I can’t see the option in Dolphin or Konqueror.

Note that this is different from the last modified date
You have so have something deleted in the Trash bin.
In Dolphin
Navigate to View → Sort By →

What options do you have there?
I have:
Name
Size
Date
Permissions
Owner
Group
Type
Link Destination
Path
And like I said in the original post, I am looking for Date Deleted and not Last Modified Date (which is what Date sorts by in this list)
I not only want to sort it by Date Deleted I also want to see it in one of the columns in the Wastebin.
