i have a Sony Vaio Laptop with two graphic chips in it, one from intel and a “high performance” one from ATI/AMD. And the cool feature this Laptop has is a swtich
labeled: “Stamina <-> Speed” with it i can directy switch between the two graphic devices… at least it does so on Windows but on openSUSE 13.2 the swich has no effect
at all no matter when i used it, the intel driver/device is always used.
My question is, are there any plans to support such a realtime graphic device switch functionality on linux sometime? What would needed to be done to support such feature?
