Is there an openSUSE Sonos controller equivalent available that I can use to stream music wirelessly off my server to my hi-fi system or another Sonos player?
Your stream stimulated my curiosity so I will just try to figure out with you how this works and eventually could work with something I have already setup at home. so how do you control your system? via your ipad? if yes you’ll have to install some components on your ipad read this thread(https://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-technical-help-here/multimedia/482370-streaming-video-music-photos-opensuse-12-2-pc-ipad.html).
I stream music, pictures, movies using the server described in there and I’m happy with it. It’s a start point to get some info and hopefully someone who already experimented this would be able to help you. enjoy!
