My Software Updates notification toast/popup doesn’t go away. Most notifications go away after a few seconds. But this one just stays there until I click X.
mildly annonying.
Then switch it off entirely, de-install it (together with Packagekit), then the whole annoying thing will be gone. lol!
I think it’s a bug in the applet. The default for notifications is 4 secs, it indeed does not respect that. Having said this, if the devs want to make sure you get the message, they could say it’s a feature :D.
