Software repositories for Second Life viewers?

I asked this on the Second Life forum as well but no answer. Although I can run SL fine on openSUSE by downloading the viewer and unpacking it, I’d prefer running it via YAST software repositories if possible.

Does openSUSE have any repository for the Second Life viewer(s)? If there’s none that’s openSUSE specific, are there any RPM repositories at all that offer the SL viewer binaries (if possible both 64bit and 32bit versions)? Official viewer and custom viewers are both welcome… I’m primarily an OpenSim user and since Linden dropped support for it in their viewer I’ll want a custom viewer too. I only care for viewer 3 forks if that makes any difference (with mesh support, media on prim, and all the latest stuff).

I only managed to find one so far which I’m already using, but I’m not sure who it belongs to and how long it will be there for: lemmy04 - Snowglobe. Anyone know if there are others please?

shouldn’t this question be asked in the Games repo?

and, there are SL clients found by http://software.opensuse.org/search

are the 1-Click installs there ok for you?

Second Life is a virtual space, and for years I’ve never been sure if it qualifies as a game or not :stuck_out_tongue: And thanks for the link (should have remembered to use that search). It points to the lemmy04 repository I linked in the first post, but I’m still curious if anyone has more info as to how up to date and stable that is, and if there are other ones too. Currently I’m using that one already, so no need for the 1-click installs.
