I’ve just udpated my opensuse13.1 via the updater applet, and now I’ve got issues with some older software I keep around. Where can I see the log of packages that were installed, so I can start to debug this?

rpm -qa --last
And one thing that’s always worth a try when having problems with software not starting or crashing (especially older ones, not installed from current repositories):
Run it in a terminal window, and have a look at the error message you might get.

If you use YaST, it has “undo”. Not very much known nor tested, but it
does exist.
