Hi,
Does anybody know any nice GUI software to make backups?
Someone like the COBIAN Backup for Windows.
Thanks
Are you wanting to make disk image or just sync’d data backups?
Mainly sync file backups.
But I would also like to make an image of my linux partition or hard disk.
Grsync is a good GUI frontend of rsync. Most of the drive imaging software for Linux is CLI based. You can take a look at some of the offerings HERE.
Thanks. But I havent seen the incremental backup option in gsync.
I use unison to sync data and dd to make a backup of a partition or hdd. Unison is rsync based and has a gui, dd has no gui afaik.
Grsync is quite nice, but I cannot make authomatic backups neither scheduled backups.
