Softmaker office NX PlantMaker Can't recover focus

Hi,

I’ve tried to get some help from product support. Unfortunately this problem is only related to openSuse (KDE) - tested by softmaker. I didn’t have time to try any other distro. Maybe someone face this problem before and can help me to resolve this problem.

When switching between application, PlanMaker can’t take back full focus when clicked with the mouse on it’s window after copy past operation (inserting an image in to the document). When clicking on the cell in PlantMaker, I can’t type any number or text. All keys are bind with other application (file explorer - dolphin or image browser - Gwenview). When I press arrow buttons, I can see cell selection moving up and the selection of the file in the file explorer/image browser moves as well.

I’ve try to play with steal focus prevention configuration in plasma but it didn’t help. Do you have any idea where the problem can be?

Thank for your support.

You could try to address this issue in the KDE Discuss Forum – <https://discuss.kde.org/>.

A possibly cause for such behaviour with KDE Plasma is, the user’s cache.

  • Log the affected user out and then, either from another user’s Plasma session or, a VT session ( ), clean out the affected user’s ‘~/.cache/’ directory.
  • Then, login the affected user again to a Plasma session.

You could also take a look in ‘~/.local/share/’ to see if there’s also a Softmaker cache directory somewhere in that location. Also check the user’s home directory for any hidden Softmaker directories.
