SoftAP, which USB card, driver

I’m stuck with SoftAP for OpenSUSE 12.1. Tried several USB sticks, because it seems that Lenovo E520 doesn’t support WiFi Master mode. Lost a week or more, read several forums and pages… Everything I’ve tested usually work as WiFi, but not in hostapd. So I wish to change a problem. Is there anyone in the whole World, who:

• use OpenSUSE 12.1
• use “as small as possible” USB (nano) Wifi adapter
• use it as SoftAP (master mode)
• and of course the “****” stuff works?

I’d like to know which adapter or which chip it uses, what kind of drivers, setup?

It is much easier to buy a right adapter than use “try and fail” method

This is not something I have tried to do. I did find a link for instructions with Linux, but not the same adapter and this is the real problem with trying to get some specific hardware to work with Linux in certain modes or even at all. Anymore, I look up the hardware and buy online when I find the specific device said to work with Linux. Here is a link on the subject that might be useful to you.

Yes, that is the reason that I don’t wish to deal with all problems. The simplest solution is to ask if anyone had a success and buy suggested device.
