So who is updating the HCL after installing 11.1

Consider this as some sort of way of bringing more attention to the HCL (Hardware Compatibility List)

As the HCL is a great source to base purchases on, not to mention for the new people it’s an easy way to see if openSUSE will work properly on their box it would be nice if everyone who’s updating to 11.1 tomorrow would take the time to update the info for their hardware.

So who’s with me to get 11.1 off to a good start?

If noone beats me to it I’ll update the entry for the Compal HL90 laptop, some USB soundcard and a bunch of random hardware from my home-build systems*

Once I put it through its paces I’ll be editing the Gateway GT5670. If Gaby(my PC) works as well in 11.1 as she does with 11.0 I’ll be adding to the list.

You are right, as the HCL is a WIKI, this is “everybody’s” task. I support you encouraging the community to do this.
