Hello there. I’ve been trying to install Snes9x but no matter whether I use the RPM file, one-click system or install/remove software feature. I can’t see it anywhere. Yast says it’s there, but where? I can use bsnes, but it’s to slow.
Hi
The two binaries are here;
/usr/bin/snes9express
/usr/bin/snes9x
just like judasdisciple, installed snes9x with the 1-click install
how do I run it?
cheers!
Hi
Open a terminal and run either of the above two commands… If that works you could create a desktop shortcut or menu item.
What I’ve also done is I got Snes games and put Open with Snes9X. Works now, even though I can’t see the program it self on the actual application list.
Hi
You would need to create your own snes9 entry via alacarte to add to
the menu system.

Just find the file that opens the program and then create an item on the menu that points to that file. I did it with ZSNES on GNOME.
