Snes9X-Gtk for 12.1?

The openSUSE Emulators repo is truly, truly excellent, featuring many terrific programs, but it is missing a vital application - Snes9X-Gtk. OpenSUSE 11.4 used to have this excellent emulator in the repositories, and it is a joy. I would love to see it return to 12.1. It’s still being actively developed (code.google here), and imho is the best SNES emu out there. Is there any chance we might see it in the 12.1 repo? I see you have the older Snes9x, but it’s not the same as this emulator, being much older.

What think?

I agree and would like to see this in the repo’s soon. Please?..

I have some initial packages built for 11.4, 12.1, and Tumbleweed. I’ll see about getting them in the Emulators repo. Enjoy.

Sir, you are a magician! Thank you very much. I’ll be giving this a go when I get home from work.

Many thanks! :cool:

Played. Works. Is awesome. :cool: :smiley:

Thanks so much for this. :slight_smile:

Just wanted to post up and thank Canislycan (I think I got the name right!) for keeping this package up to date for 12.2. Magic!

I got an issue:

error while loading shared libraries: libatk-bridge-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

using 64bit opensuse 12.2

Why not the 12.2 version then?

I did that, it did not work either, same error and everything.
Its okay now as i used alien to convert the app from Ubuntu but still I should not have had to do it, nor compile from source to get it to work.
It seems not to want to work from this repo.
