Is it possible to download smpppd package anywhere?

smppd is in the repo’s here ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/distribution/10.3/repo/oss/suse/i586/ just add it to your repo list.IIRC,it should also be on your install media

Getting this in KInternet log:
pppd[0]died: pppd options error (exit code 2).
My user is dialout group.
Can you advise please?
