SMplayer keep playing video at high speed.

Few days back I changed the video playing speed to faster,since that day,SMplayer keep playing video at high speed even I’ve change the speed to normal…
Any solution?

I changed Smplayers speed and brought it back with no problems. Does this happen in all mplayer frontends like, Gnome player, Smplayer, Umplayer? Just wondering if maybe there is an Mplayer bug or is it Smplayer specific. What type of file were you playing?

Have you tried this maybe a dependency issue

I had this problem on youtube.

When trying to fix my sound on pavucontrol, i tested various sound profiles, some gave me like 3x regular video speed.

Rename or delete ~/.config/smplayer/smplayer.ini, start smplayer and see if it makes a difference.

Hi guys,thanks for advice. I’ve solve it,the problem is I changed the gl-ati-fast for video & alsa 1.3 for audio few days ago,I read the HELP in SMplayer,and follow the simple instruction to change xv for video & alsa for audio,everything is ok.
