Yesterday and today about a half dozen updates were applied. Today, my SMB sharing is broken. What might have happened? How might I fix it?
Service still active? Any errors reported on the server?
sudo journalctl -u smb
Configuration problems?
testparm
Also, check that the firewall is not impacting here perhaps.
FWIW, I’ve just upgraded my Leap 15.4 install, and I’ve checked the samba and client functionality, with no problems evident. It might be due to something particular to your environment.
