smb nmb won't start with security=share

Greetings!
I’ve been using Samba on SuSe for 10+ years. I use security=share for my home network.
Currently running 12.3 in production. Thought I’d try out Leap 42.1
Configured Samba the usual way and it will not start.
Changed to security = user and it starts fine.
I want to use security = share

What do I need to do to make this work?

I found the answer on a ubuntuforums.org post.
security = share has been deprecated.
The solution is
security = user
map to guest = Bad user

In place of
security=share
