Just thought I’d share this because it’s a frustrating regression with an impact on productivity (at least for people who shutdown their PCs every day/multiple times a day).
They’re aware of it and a fix is in the works:

I wonder if this kind of regression could be caught by opensuse’s openqa by setting a maximum allowed delay between the login screen and the appearance of the desktop.
It could allow to catch such issues in the future and either delay the snapshot or even delay the KDE release.
WDYT? The difference is quite striking, from a couple of seconds it went to take 20 or more…
