Hello, I recently installed openSUSE as my main operating system last night, but I had ungodly slow internet. I didn’t know about disabling ipv6 and beagle then but now I do. I was wondering if thats all you have to do to fix your slow speed. And I wanted to know if an external will work on openSUSE because I am going to buy one today.
Well disabling ipv6 worked on the live cd so I guess it will work on the install…still wondering about the hard drive
If the hard drive will connect through USB, you need to think about the slow transfer speed of USB versus a drive attached directly to the motherboard. It’s much slower. I would not use that method for a working operating system. I would only do that for research/demo installations.
