I’ve been getting some terribly slow download speeds, often dial-up speeds. This is happening at sites I haven’t experienced this previously, including archive.org and fsrn.org. Yesterday, an update took nearly an hour. It’s been like my provider (Qwest) has been throttling traffic, but they insist that’s not the case. I have an Actiontec M100 DSL modem, and that’s indicating full speed, but downloading a file more than 20 MB it’s quickly suppressed.
Well it is either you, the server, or somebody in between. If you can
take your computer somewhere else and test the download again? If you
have a link to try I’ll try from home/work and see if that makes a difference.
Good luck.
