Hi,
Do we have any template for SLES 11 SP1 + Gnome? If not what are the patterns should I include for Gnome?
I have selected base, gnome, x11 (Included all recommended packages) will this sufficient or should I include more?

That should be sufficient, try it out in test drive and see if what
you’re looking for is there.

you may feel welcome to hang out here to see if someone can
help…however, SLES is a commercial product of Novell, and their
forum is at forums.novell.com
this is the openSUSE forum and most folks here have never run SLES…

Actually, for SUSE Studio, it’s perfectly acceptable to ask questions
about SLE configuration here - that’s one of the things we intended with
the Studio forum here.
But for most issues, the support links in Studio may provide faster
answers.

Thanks for the replay, :). My intention is to find out if we have any predefined gnome template so that all necessary packages will be selected automatically(Ofcourse it will make my life easy ). While building the Gnome based SLES 11 sp1, i forgot to include xorg-x11-driver-input package, its made my keyboard/mouse disabled after deploying the image.

In general, the dependencies should be filled, but as you found there are
times where something that seems like it should be a dependency (like the
x11 driver package) aren’t for some reason. I don’t see a template for
GNOME, so I’d guess there isn’t one, so the way you’ve done it would be
the way to do it.
