SLES11.1 dont detect my Monitor

Hi Is anyone could kindly help me about the below problem?
after installed SUSE 11 SP1 successfully, I got one new Monitor HP ZR2440w Monitor.
but unfortunately my SUSE didnt detected this change even I reboot the system.
via the hwinfo, I got the below output for the Monitor:

[Created at fb.71]
Unique ID: rdCR.EY_qmtb9YY0
Hardware Class: monitor
Model: “Generic Monitor”
Vendor: “Generic”
Device: “Monitor”
Resolution: 1600x1200@77Hz
Driver Info #0:
Max. Resolution: 1600x1200
Vert. Sync Range: 50-90 Hz
Hor. Sync Range: 31-96 kHz
Config Status: cfg=new, avail=yes, need=no, active=unknown

but actully my other friends who are using the same Model Monitor can be deteced by SUSE11.1 successfully.
would anyone could help me how could I force SUSE to detect this change?
Thanks a lot for your support.
P.S. I am one newbie for SUSE.

Hello JimmyTest.

You landed at the wrong forums. This is the openSUSE forums and not SLES/SLED. They are at: SUSE Forums
(and you can use the same username/password you used here).
