Skype doesn't autostart after update.

I recently updated Skype from 4.1 to 4.2. I have a symlink from ~/.kde4/Autostart/skype -> /usr/bin/skype . Before the update, Skype would launch on login, but now I get the following error in a popup:

There is no application installed that can open files of the type shared library (application/x-sharedlib).

and offers to install software, but fails to find any. If I open a terminal and type “~/.kde4/Autostart/skype &”, Skype starts properly.

Try using Systemsettings - Startup - Autostart.

That did it! THANKS!!!:good:
