Skype 2.1.0.81

I have tried to install Skype on my laptop with a bad result. The sound I spook to the Skype Echo test sound like a slow robot speaking. I think there was another thread with this problem also, but I couldn’t find a solution for me.

I have uninstalled Skype again, but my sound system is broken. I have sound running round from speaker to mic, after I have played a sound (from YouTube or similar). And even if I mute the speaker and put it to 0%, it is yelling when I am closing down openSuSE.

So first of all - please help me with getting my sound system back to normal! Here are the data:

Think I have found the solution: Front Mic. Bost was nearly on top.

I didn’t showed that channel on KDE mixer :frowning:

Does anybody have a link for a newbee description of the meaning of all the channels?

I know it is a little bit like old analog mixer, but what are the difference between:

MIC <-> FRONT MIC
MIC BOST <-> FRONT MIC Bost

or
MASTER <-> FRONT
