Skipping repository 'openSUSE:Tumbleweed' because of the above error.

Hello together,

I’m new to Suse and setup Tumbleweed only with the standard installation.

I received a warning if I use

zypper dup

At https://en.opensuse.org/Package_repositories I found:

**Debug**

Debuginfo packages. Advanced users only.
  Version: Tumbleweed http://download.opensuse.org/debug/tumbleweed/repo/oss/

Is the URL wrong in my settings?

Thank you!

Please show us a list of your repos:

zypper lr -d

I see there dod and dod_debug. I have no idea what that is or why you get that.

I am afraid that you did not post that list in a proper way between the CODE tags. You should first create the CODE tags (by clicking on the # button) and then paste your listing, as copied with the mouse from the terminal, between the tags.
What we now see is URLs that are malformed by the forums software. What we must see is the raw text of those URLs.

In any case (waiting for your better list) I see a few strange things.
You have a home repo of Herbster0815, you did not mention that as one you added.
You have Factory and you are already running Tumbleweed, why is that?
You have Packman complete and Packman Essentials. You should have either Packman (which includes all sub-sections of it including Essentials), or you restrict yourself to the Essentials part of it.

And for the dod whatever, I prefer to wait to see your real URLs.

Your repo list looks quite messy. Zypper can get confused by this. A more canonical example is:

You have a home repo of Herbster0815, you did not mention that as one you added.

I add it to get the android-tools packages.

You have Factory and you are already running Tumbleweed, why is that?

I’m not sure, but I think I did not add it.

Kind regards

Piet

You first say you only added two repos. Then we see two Packman ones, the Herbster one and the Factory one and you seem to have no idea when you added them. And those that say (more or less) that the are the Tumbleweed system ones, aren’t. #1 and #4 do neot even have a type! Remove those in any case. And I doubt the other are much good either.

My advice is to do what @karlmisteberger suggested.

Hello,

now it’s

I let Herbster0815 because one package is need. I need the Android-tool adb etc.

Now the warning are gone.

Then remove #1, #4 ( i have no idea how you got them, but they are not repos),
And also #3 because that reverts to the standard URL as in #8. Again I do not understand why you have this sort of alias.

And most people will disable home repos like Herbster after installation and only enable it when they think they need an update from what they have from there. You never know what is put in such a repo beside thus what you need.

And an advice. Take better notice about what you are doing. Specially when you use 1-click installs, because they tend to add repos when you do not prevent this. At the minimum you should disable them (as suggested above).

And please use CODE (the # button) and not HTML tags. What you show is no HTML.
I do not understand why you can do it correct in post #6 and #8 and than incorrect in post #10.

Please delete the both Repos with dod in the URL (No. 1 and 4).
This is not a valid Url.
Try to open them in a Browser.

I think this is a bug in Tumbleweed to add such a URL.
