Since plasma 6 "HideUsers" in /etc/sddm.conf.d/sddm.conf gets ignored

Hi, I have users on my system used only for running certain applications in the background. As I created these users I accidentally did not created them as system users which resulted in having them shown in the sddm login window. I was able to fix that by adding the user names to the HideUsers section of the sddm.conf
But after updated my tumbleweed installation to the newest kde plasma the setitings seem to be ignored, because I get these user accounts shown again in the login screen.

Does anyone know whats happening here? Maybe the settings or the conf path changed?

You did not post your /etc/sddm.confso we can only guess in the dark what you have.

I am on Leap 15.5, but when I read

man sddm.conf

there isn’t a [HideUsers] section mentioned.

There is however a [Users]section that has MinimumUid= and MaximumUid= and indeed HideUsers=

That does not fit with your description.

Yes, sorry, here is the content of my /etc/sddm.conf.d/sddm.conf

[Users]
HideUsers=citrixlog,prowlarr,lidarr,readarr

This worked until i upgraded to plasma 6

I would check if the man page still mentions this. Then maybe file a bug report.
