It looks to me like you must load a custom driver into Windows or Mac to use this box. So, unless Silex Technologies says they support Linux, it is unlikely to work. In some cases, after you get a Windows Host using a printer, you may be able to get Windows to share it over the network. Further, using VirtualBox or VMWare, it is possible to run a Windows client on a Linux Host. However, in the end, any success you may have may be limited. I would contact Silex and see what they say about Linux. They might even have a beta driver they need someone to test. You just never know but good luck to you.
