SigmaTel STAC 9205 - Silent Sound

I have OpenSUSE 11.1 installed on my laptop Gateway M6846.
Everything’s OK, but there is only one problem: sound plays too silent (SigmaTel STAC 9205), when the volume level is 100%.

Too silent? Does that mean you have some sound, but the volume level is too low?

If so, go to YaST > Hardware > Sound and move the volume levels (master and PCM) there up very very high. Close YaST. Then go into your mixer, and move both master and volume levels there up very high.
