Shutdown Issue

Hi,

Just installed OpenSuse 12.1 (KDE Desktop) on my Laptop. This is my first installation of any RPM based Linux distro…

The laptop is an Asus F3T with an AMD Turion MK36 Processor, 2GB RAM, and nVidia GeForce Go 7300 GPU…

For most parts OpenSuse works fine, except that it does not shutdown properly… After I click on Leave - > Shutdown, the desktop enviroment unload (I guess), and then it comes to the Green OpenSuse shutdown screen, and hangs, after which I have to power-off the laptop from the Physical Power button on the laptop.

Is this a bug, or am/have I doing/done something wrong?

Any solution or work-around ?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the response and the link on bugzilla … However, is there any concrete solution or work-around to this ?
