Shutdown if GUI Power switches won’t work

Is there a way to do a ‘shutdown now’ command if the power switche(s) in the panel won’t work?

And if so, will it start again with the GUI or the something else?

With Plasma and SDDM:-
After Logout, you can use ShutDown from the SDDM login screen.
As an alternative from Konsole you can execute “sudo systemctl poweroff”. The system will restart normally to a graphical login screen.
