Shows /home full when not full, then dumps settings

I got a message that /home was full and then it dumped all settings and looked like a new install. /home was only 41% used but I cleaned out everything and set up the computer again. Worked fine for one boot, then on next boot I get the same message and same action. /home still shows only 41% used and there is hardly anything there.

Running 11.0 (holding off for 11.2 if I can)

Is /home on a separate drive? Maybe the 2nd drive is having problems.

My /home is an encrypted partition but on the same drive, and if I don’t enter my LUKS password in time, it continues to boot but I get a “clean” desktop which is actually the /home folder on my / partition.

Maybe something similar is happening for you?
