Should I bring a portable computer to openSUSE Conference 2018?

It might sound heretical, but I usually would leave a laptop at home for a four day trip to Prague. But, this time I’ll be attending the openSUSE conference there!

I’ve never before attended a conference of this type, and can’t guess how much use attendees might make of personal laptops during the event. The schedule I see at:

https://events.opensuse.org/conference/oSC18/schedule

suggests I’ll mostly listen to openSUSE experts. Is interactive work likely to be done with laptops, too?

The laptop makes for extra bulk; that’s why I thought I should ask.

Yes or, your “smart” mobile telephone or, a tablet.

The previous conferences had a WLAN set up for the conference area and, there was the possibility to exchange PGP keys; I see no reason as to why OSC18 should be different …

Thank you!
