KeePassXC does not offer sharing database by cloud, leaving the choice to the user.
I thought I would try using syncthing for peer to peer sharing and syncing within machines on my lan.
I have installed on two machines and have the two syncthing apps talking to each other so I tried to add the keepassxc database.
Couldn’t do it. When I try and browse to the database I see it but greyed out. Where am I going wrong please?

That’s usually an indication of a permissions problem.
Speculating only based on what you’re trying to sync,
Something as sensitive as passwords would typically have extra security built in, either to grant access only by way of a specific application and some way of authentication which might not be the Linux file system… for example, maybe a special password or certificates by way of a special application.

It might be because you try to sync one specific file. I believe syncthing allow you to sync folders only. Thats why your *.kdbx file is greyed out.
