I think what you are looking for is IP masquerading. To implement this you
will need to restrict internet traffic to the wired connection. In YaST
firewall settings (YaST > Security and Users > Firewall), assign your wired
nic (which you use for the internet) to the external zone and your wireless
interface (your gateway interface) to the internal zone and enable IP
Masquerading. Now assign a static IP to the wireless card. I suppose you
could use Network manager, but I think it would be wise to use ifup and YaST
for this task. You need to assign an IP from one of the public networks
(e.g. 192.168.7.1 with a mask of 255.255.255.0). This HowTo was written
with two wired nics in mind and an older version of openSUSE but should
still give you the basics.
Keep in mind that is you want to use your wireless for an internet
connection you will want to remove it from the internal zone and most likely
go back to dhcp for your IP.
