sha1, Where is it?

I’m running OpenSuse x64 13.1 and still having a few issues. For instance I can’t locate “sha1” the more secure equivalent of md5sum. It doesn’t appear to be in the repositories I’ve currently included. Also finding the same with diffpdf and the qt4 headers etc. Could be I don’t have appropriate repositories open or I could just be having a monumentally bad day. But Suse does seem to be fighting doing anything other than a vanilla (defined by someone with a grudge) install.

Any suggestions?

You mean sha1sum? Use auto completion at the command line?

openSUSE use libqt4-devel, if you looking for something, just use zypper se from the cli.

I was looking for “sha1” and missed installing “sha1sum”. What’s weird is that grep of an index did as well.
Ok, now I’ve got it.

Next to get back to finding the headers for qt4 and why I can’t build “diffpdf”.
