hi!
Recently i started going into OSes other than Windows.
So, i installed openSUSE 11.3 32bit on my system in dual boot with Windows7 32bit.
Everything was okay
But i couldn’t find any drivers for my laptop.
My problems are :
cannot access NTFS drives.
cannot connect to the internet through LAN
cannot connect to the internet through Wireless.
Computer’s Configuration :
Dell Inspiron 14r
Intel Corei3 processor
Both the operating systems run fine otherwise

Invoke the script from here which will analyze your system for common networking problems and provide help to fix them on your own. If you don’t get it fixed just post the generated outputfile which contains a lot of networking information of your system and will help us to help you.
@framp i was able to solve the Wired problem using the script but i cudn’t get around the Wireless one
Thanks
/sbin/lspci -nnk gave me the following output

OK
Once you have added that repo as shown above
do this:
zypper in broadcom-wl broadcom-wl-kmp-desktop
when that’s done
reboot

Great! That’s the main purpose of the script
but i cudn’t get around the Wireless one
Thanks
caf4926 asked for additional information. If you’d posted the output file which contains a lot of networkinginformation he’d be able to post the solution for your problem much faster That’s the second purpose of the script: Collect a lot of networking info so people can help you more quickly All the lspci -nnk and uname stuff for example is already in there.
yeah!!! both the problems were solved (wired and wireless) but now i need to access ntfs partition
thanks
